  • For cooking when the alcohol cooks out is fine.

    No one is going to be excommunicated or kicked out of a service for drinking, but to be considered an "actively practicing" member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon is just a nickname), then drinking alcohol is off the table.

  • no they aren't even allowed to drink coffee my cousin told me. (she just recently started going to the church)

  • no tea(herbal tea though is fine, but nothing from tea leaves), no coffee, no alcohol. First anon was right we can use alcohol in cooking if it cooks out
