  • Ha! Sounds normal. At that age, every body part and bodily function is hillarious to them. Talk to them and tell them that is private and put it away!! No need to get uptight about it.

  • LOL! I laugh because I grew up in a family of boys. Yes, I think it's normal. At that age, they have NO shame! I remember my brothers pretending their penises were "mushrooms" in the bathtub! It's just another body part to them, like a finger or a foot. I agree with ria7, you just have to teach him and then make sure to be consistent.

  • Normal, yeah... would/do I tolerate it? NO. We just had an "I'm going to pee on you!" incident this morning.

  • yes its totally normal but ofcourse not acceptable. they think this is hilarious and fun. the ''dirty thinking'' usually does not take over boys after they enter their mid-late teens, so relax. but yes, as a mom its ure job to tell him its wrong. its like when my kids start having a meatball fight at the dinner table when i turn around for 1 min to talk on the phone. thats normal but wrong ofcourse. i even have to give them a time out if they keep repeating it. so think of him sticking out this penis as a water gun like a harmless child behavior. just tell him its wrong. u can even punish him lightly (a time-out or sending him to his room, or skipping his dessert) if he still doesnt listen.
