write a letter or no?

so on wednesday, i saw this Shopko paper, it was a 4 days sale and so we happen to notice that wednesday was the last day. i really been wanting some racheal ray pans but they get a little pricey. i saw that there was racheal ray pans listed as a "buy one get one free" i was so happy but i didnt know if it came in a set or if it was a single pans listed. it just said the name under a picture of pans. so we figure we better call before making a 45 minute drive to Shopko to see if it is a set or just a single pan.

the guy on the phone said it was a set of 13 that was advertised as buy one get one. we buck it there before closing time (we only had about 2 hours left before closing) and when we get there, we find out it was 2 single pans put together selling for 89.99 as buy one get one. VERY disappointing!!!!!!

so yes or no to writing an online letter?

  • I would have told the store exactly what the store employee said and got the deal that he explained to you! That's ridiculous. Always get the name of the employee as well so you can name them when that stuff happens!
Yes write a letter or call the manager of the store!

  • Did you really think they would do a BOGO free on a SET of pans? To me that would have sounded very suspicious.

  • What kind of pan was it?There are few of her pans that sell for $89.99 for ONE so two for that price is a great deal becaue it IS a BOGO. One pan (go to her webbsite) IS $89.99. So, what is the misconception? They just packaged 2 together and were charging the price of buying ONE. How much were you expecting to pay for TWO sets of 13 pans??? $50??? NO, of course not. Her 10pc. cookware set sells for around $159-$199 on her website. So, I imagine you were willing to pay about that much for 26 pans (1 set plus a free set)???? If so...just buy the 10 piece set and stop complaining. Oh and btw, there's only a 10 piece set for $199.99, a 10 piece for $159.99 and a 14 piece set for $299.99 so you would have paid around $250-$300 depending for 1 set of 13 (if they had such a set which they do NOT). You may have miss heard the sales person. Really, why would they BOGO a SET of pans. I would expect it to be ONE pan and ONE free.
