Background. My periods are very regular for the most part. 27-29 days apart. I never pay any attention to when I ovulate, just because we got pregnant so easy the first time, and we aren't trying now. (Not being responsible about preventing, but not trying.) So I had my period on the 16th of April, and according to the ovulation calendar, I should have ovulated sometime between the 20-24th with my most fertile day being on the 24th. If you started your period on the 16th you would ovulate 14 days after, that would be the 30th. Your most fertile days would be around the 28th and 29th. If your period starts on the 16th you can't ovulate on the 20th, that's only 4 days away and you should still be having your period. The most common day to ovulate is the 14th. This last weekend would have been the 24th and that would have been too early to get pregnant. Don't worry, it is very unlikely you are having a miscarriage.
