Question about a digital pregnancy test......

I took 5 family dollar pregnancy tests that have the + symbol on them and they all came out with a + symbol. but today i took a digital test and its a first response digital and it said with the answer No- on it. my question is are the digital ones always accurate??

  • No. Just like any pregnancy test you are much more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. False positive tests almost never happen, especially not 5 times in a row!

    Then I took a few more! yes they are accurate, definitely because I'm 37 wks!
    I used clearblue.

  • I heard that the digital tests are not as sensitive as other kinds. So that could be why the non-digitals are showing up positive and the digitals are not. Congrats.

  • I'd say your preggo. Congrats.. But if you're still unsure just make an appointment at your doctor/health department and ask for a blood test!Good Luck.

  • I received a false positive from a digital pregnancy test. I tested a bunch after that initial stick and all were negative. I even went to the doctor's to confirm. Cursed digi stick!
