How do they determine if you get PA? Are you not eligible if you make over a certain amount of money? Do they include all your utilities and mortage?

  • They bring you in and you bring proof of income, utilities, rent/mortgage, loans, investments, money in your bank accounts (which I think is bogus, that isn't their information, and sometimes you have to have that money for when your car breaks down or some emergency. SO LAME haha) Plus verification of residency and number in household. There is still an income cap, but SOMETIMES they will work with you if you aren't that much over.

  • the guidelines are based soley on your income, bills do not factor at all into your eligibilty.

  • go to this page: http://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/applicant_recipients/eligibility.htm

    go to the pre-screening tool. enter your location and your information as well as what you are seeking to get. it will tell you everything you may be eligible for. then go ahead and apply for whatever it says you may be able to get.
