Wacky after baby period or Am I pregnant?....again

After having my son, 5 months ago my periods just haven't been right... sometimes its a day or two late or it comes and goes for a week but this month comes around & it's 9 days late! This Worries me greatly because I have recently become sexually active again and well it wasn't the most safe. Here's the real problem, a week after having sex I went for a checkup, had my doct do a pregnancy test, thankfully it was negative!... Should I chalk it up to the weird periods or go buy a bazillion pregnancy tests & hope for the best?

  • No need to buy a bazillion tests. All it takes is one HPT to find out if you are or not.

We have no way of knowing, sorry. Your body may not be straightened out yet since giving birth or you could be pregnant.

  • if you're not breastfeeding or using birth control.. then you could very well be pregnant.

  • Well if you were not being careful you need to test again. I had a test at my Dr appt with this one and I was 4 days to my period and got a negative. Well 5 days later I tested and got a positive.
