What christian fiction/nonfiction books can you recommend?

Besides the bible. My friend told me about "The Shack" yesterday and it sounds wonderful. I like tragedies so that is probably why. It has a bit of tragedy anyways. I also love biographies and documentary stuff.

Have you read it? Can you recommend something? Thanks!

here's a good list of Christian authors.

I read a few a while ago but I cannot for the life of me find the author's name. I think it was Warren

The Master Potter and the sequel The Master Potter and the Mountain of Fire by Jill Austin

    Rescued by John Bevere

fiction depends on what your beliefs are but I am reading Miracle Workers, Reformers and The New Mystics ... its mostly historical stuff, long chapters but great information. I encourage you to go to my Shelfari book shelf and look at what I have read

  • My sister gave me one to read, which had a really good story line (if they hadn't said "jesus" every other paragraph). It was called "The List"

  • I wasn't crazy about The Shack. Idk, it was different. It was hard for me to get through. Anything by Karen Kingsbury, anything by Brandilynn Collins (I may not have spelled that quite right), ummm...the only books I read are from our church library, so they're all Christian nonfiction, but I just don't retain titles well! I'll see what else I can think of.
