Adam and Eve did not have any knowledge?

(A spin off from my other ?) There were a few answers that said Adam and Eve did not have any knowledge and did not have consequenses. I differ, they had consequenses that were good, perfection. Anyway....

Do you think God spoke to them more than what the bible records?
Did God give them a conscience? If yes, then they had knowledge right?
Thanks.

  • Obviously they had a conscience. That doesn't mean they knew evil, or wrong. How can you know some thing that doesn't exist where you are.

  • Obviously, if you don't have the KNOWLEGE of good and evil, then you cannot acurately judge WHY it is better to obey god's restrictions than to not obey them. They were like the animals, instinctual, but not knowlegeable.

Honestly they couldn't have had the knowledge of death they would have never have seen or experienced it. So no they did not truly have the knowledge of the consequences.

  • I agree with Witchqueen. they may have had some knowledge, but not of good and evil. How were they to know that the serpent wasn't of God?? Besides the whole thing happened at the tree of KNOWLEDGE. That alone implies they didn't have much if any of the consequences.
