  • When I am cooking baby goes different places depending on the age and stage and what is going on.... in a carrier on my back, in a low portable bassinette, in a highchair, in another pair of arms' like father's or sibling's, playing in the family room.. or, I would cook with the crockpot or my husband would grill dinner.

  • I lay her down long enough to cook or her daddy would take her.

  • With my daughter I just never cooked until my husband was home to hold her lol. With this one I'm thinking we'll do a swing or even just a blanket on the floor, since I have more than just me to cook for now.

  • I would just put him on a blanket in the floor with some toys.

  • Usually on my back. Or I would grab the Moses basket, and keep them in the kitchen.

  • On my back, on the floor, in her little seat that clips onto the counter.

  • How do you put the baby on your back? Do you need a special carrier? And how old?

Answer by Anonymous at 6:14 PM on May. 3, 2010

  • for #3 I cooked with her on my hip - but I'd swing her farther back so my arm was in front.

    I had a wrap.

  • The high chair so she could watch (with toys), playing in the other room when older. Mostly my hubby cooked.
