  • If it is not deleted by the person asking it, how does a question get deleted and why?

  • did you ask it or answer it? if so, you should be able to click on the answers tab... find your option, and click on that.

  • Sometimes questions are reported to CM and deleted for breaking TOS.

If it's a particularly hot topic discussion I want to keep an eye on; I always 'add a shortcut' rather than rely on the 'my answer' list etc...then when you're done you can delete the shortcut...

  • ^^ should have added since this is a direct link to where the question was; if it's been delete you'll get a page with a message telling you as much - where if you just look through the lists; it's just not there and you may feel like you're starting to lose your mind; lol

  • If the question was deleted by CM Mods it will not show up in your answers. If it was closed and the OP picked a best answer you can find those questions in the closed questions tab. There are also some people that are either not aware they should pick best answer and there by closing the question and they will just go in and delete the whole question. Or they might just like to get people riled up and then make them even more mad by deleting a whole question. I really don't know why they would delete.

If CM deleted the question it's likely that the question was violating the TOS and / or community guidelines.
