Anyone use Benodril while preggers?

My dd got into some poison Ivy I think because now I have a rash on my arm, and I'm allergic to poison ivy. If I dont take care of it I will blow up like a balloon. I'm going to ask my OB if it is safe to use benodril but I was wondering if anyone on here has used it while being pregnant?

  • No. My dr recommends Zyrtec instead. He says no Benadryl while pregnant or nursing.

  • I also took Zyrtec. My OBGYN wasn't against Benadryl, I just kept falling asleep on it. lol

  • I've taken benadryl throughout my three pregnancies with no ill effects.

  • it is completely fine along with most other allergy meds. they are fine. most of them. not all ... benidril is fine.

  • ya my doctor gave it to me because when i was preggo i dunno if it was from the stretching of what but my legs and stomach were so itchy i couldnt even sleep and he perscribed that and oatmeal baths, worked for the time being
