Why beat a dead horse?

Sometimes I wonder why the same topics come up over, and over again. Doesn't anyone realize that they are dead horse subjects by now?

  • Boredom and the need to see if anything different will come out of the conversation.

  • People write about what they want to know about. What they need help with. What they're curious about. Most people don't go through the old topics and read the answers. That's too time consuming and mundane. So they post a "New" topic to get the answers they're seeking. It's not about it being a "Dead Horse" topic, because it's still valid. It's things people want to know about.
