  • About 18 months, but we wouldn't let it get to that point.

  • survive? Forever - we may have to move into my parents house for a few months, and go on food stamps and other government programs, but we would survive. There are still jobs available around here and I know I could get one in a heartbeat (I know several general mgrs of restaurants who would love to have me back as at least a server if not a manager). They know and would hire my husband as well, if needed. We would get by.

  • Probably around a year. It wouldn't come to that because he would be looking for a job that day and so would I. My father also runs a company so we both could have jobs immediately if necessary.

  • We wouldn't be able to survive without his income. He would have to stay at home with the kids and I'd go back to work outside of the home, until he found another the same as his current job if not more.

  • Quite a while. But he wouldn't be out of work forever. Unlike a lot of people he would do what it takes to pay bills and so would I. Even if it meant a crappy job at lower pay than he makes now or me working nights so we wouldn't have to waste money on daycare. Also unlike many people we are willing to relocate. Losing a job is not the huge disaster a lot of people make it out to be.

  • well he'd have a new job within the day - there's no way he'd come home and just sit.

  • not even a month.

  • About six months. But he would be out looking for another job the next day. He wouldn't just sit at home. He would have at least a minimum wage job in a matter of days.
