More temptation, or was he HONESTLY curious?

Gen 3:11
And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

So either god was tempting man again, or he was just curious because he didnt know the answer.

Which do you think it was?

  • Honestly both. If he gave us free will, but does not want us to fail, yet knows we will. Is that not an oxy-moron.

  • 10 He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."

11 And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."

13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"
The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

  • it was neither.... he believed the woman who believed the snake after it was all said and done she realised she was decieved.

context is very important when sharing scripture.. surely you know that :-)

  • Wasnt he just checking to see if they had been obediant and would be honest with him? Thats what Ive always gotten from the scriptures.

He already knew the answers but wanted to hear it from their own lips. Kinda like repentence...he may know but wants us to tell him.

  • This is one of several questions of your that you have either given a straight out false words about a bible passage or taken a few lines out of the entire scripture. You really ought to quit doing that.
