how long do swollen gums associated with teething last?
my dds bottom gums are SOOO swollen

  • Well, my DD had swollen gums.. then she had more swollen gums, and then she had teeth that you could see under the swollen gums, but still no teeth yet.. and then they finally popped through, but stayed a little swollen until they were completely through. It took about two months for for bottom two to come in.. and now she has 8 teeth and is 12 months old and her gums are swollen where her canines and molars are going to come in.. I suspect they'll come in when they're ready.. and until then.. she'll keep crying every once in a while cuz of the pain.. she's a slow teether though.
