  • Try eating good carbs instead of the bad ones. Good carbs- fruits veggies, bad carbs - flour, sugar.

  • Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
    Eat 3-5 servings of veggies/fruit a day.
    Eat 5 small meals rather than 3 big ones. It's important to get your metabolism going.
    Add a table spoon of Olive Oil to one dish a day. It really does help and is good for your hair. :)
    Take a multivitamin daily.
    Exercise when you can, even if it's just walking, but try to do a little bit daily.

    I've lost 62 lbs doing that. It can be done. :) Good luck.

  • Small portions.
    Do not eat in excess. Veggies and fruits have high sugars in them, which in excess can cause weight gain.
    Cut out all soda. The artifical ingredients (especially artif. sugar) are horrible for your body. The sugars can cause you to actually maintain an unhealthy weight or cause you to gain weight.
    Drink clear liquids especially water throughout your day.
    Eat a balanced meal.
    Eat only one to two snacks and make them a healthy choice. Even a granola bar is healthier then a candy bar. I'm not saying cut out all junk, but making healthier eating choices is important.
    Cardio. 20-30 minutes a day. Even if it's broken up throughout the day. You have time if you make time. Don't excuse yourself out of excersising with "I don't have time". When you start working out the more time in your day you will have, because you'll actually become more energized.

  • I would start with simple changes.
    Don’t buy junk food
    Walk, or do other exercise, for at least 20 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week.
    Make sure that you are drinking enough water, at least 8 8oz glasses a day.
    Eat an apple or big pile of veggies before meals.
    Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, in at least 3 different colors.
    Eat 5-6 servings of whole grains a day.
    Eat at least two servings of legumes a day.
    Cut way back on meat and dairy.
