IUI cost and insurance

Does anyone know if IUI is ever covered under insurance. I havent really looked into it and nothing really came up on google. I have excellent insurance and pay only $200 deductible a year and everything else is covered no matter what. But I dont know if infertility is. I know my drugs are covered, just not the procedure.

  • Check your state. There are some states that mandate insurances to cover fertility stuff up to 3 IVF's. Our insurance doesn't cover it and we're not in one of those states but to get an IUI it would cost us $150 a round not including meds I would have to take. But we're not on that route just yet. GL!
