losing weight

well im trying to lose weight and need some help abd wht foods i should eat ,i know what i shoudnt eat .and a dumb question i have is ,what kind of cardio should i be doing ,i walk like 2 miles everyother day.i want to do kickboxing.i want a flatter tummy..i want to tone my arms and if anyone can hep i need it,,

  • Weight training is what will pull you in, but really, do what you enjoy. You'll stick with what you love. Give weight training a try though- worst case senerio, get some hand weights and use them during comercials.

  • foods that you should eat: greens, green veggies, more veggies, fruits, fish, beans, nuts seeds, chicken, beef. i like fish oil supplements and probiotics.
    exercise, likeirish momma said, it should be something you enjoy :)
    walking is really great, you can always walk faster, more often, longer...
    weight training is great
    pilates with a good instructor is great!!
    give the kick boxing a try!

  • If you want to do kickboxing type exercises, Beachbody has a great workout called Turbo Jam and Chalene Extreme.

    Start & end each day and each meal with a glass of water.
    Limit other drinks, especially soda or sugary juices. Green tea is also a good choice.

    Eat more meat, veggies, fruits -less carbs (bread, pasta, potatoes, rice) don't necessarily have to cut them out, just limit portions.

    Nuts, olives, yogurt, and veggies are a good snack choice.
    Don't skip breakfast, protein shake, oatmeal, bran type cereal are good choices. I use Beachbody's Shakeology, Special K w/ the fruit & yogurt in it or fresh spinach & mushrooms w/ egg scramble.

    Bake, broil or grill meats.
    Cook w/ olive or canola oil or spray.

    Also if you have a workout buddy that would help keep you motivated. You can also find tips, chats, message boards on my website!

  • I would start with simple changes.
    Don’t buy junk food
    Walk, or do other exercise, for at least 20 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week.
    Make sure that you are drinking enough water, at least 8 8oz glasses a day.
    Eat an apple or big pile of veggies before meals.
    Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, in at least 3 different colors.
    Eat 5-6 servings of whole grains a day.
    Eat at least two servings of legumes a day.
    Cut way back on meat and dairy
