a CD account

Does anyone know anything about a CD account... the one I have is an eighteen month duriation. it has been over 18 months, and i think that it goes for another 18 months? but i have run into so problems money wise and was wondering if anyone knows if i can take money out of it?

  • You can take your money out of it. The best time to take the money out is the time in between the terms. They send you a letter telling you the 18 months is up and you have a set amount of time to decide what to do with it or else they roll it back into another CD. You can have your money anytime you want, but if you do it before the end of the 18 months then there is usually a penalty. Hope this helps.
