what do you say when someone asks you what gift you want?

Imagine its your birthday and your friends and family want to know what you want. Do you tell them what you really want? (may it be clothes, gift card, spa day etc) or do you just shrug and say I dont know, or what ever?

  • I honestly don't usually have anything I really really want. I did this year, but it was pricier, so I got it for myself :-) I usually just say, "You know me. I'll like anything you get me"... b/c I've been lucky, aside from my 4th b-day when I got all Barbies (YUCK!) my friends have had pretty decent taste, as well as my family members.

  • I usually tell them. I also ask people what they want and would rather they tell me than just say I don't know.
