Would you let your child play with second-hand toys?

Like from garage sales, thrift stores, etc.?

  • Absolutely! That is one of the best ways to save money. I have bought toys at garage sales for $1 that go for $20+ brand new at the store! Then when my kids get sick of them I sell them in my garages sale......kinda like getting free toys ; )
A tip.......those magic eraser scrubbers clean scuff marks off of used toys really well, they also take off crayon.

  • why not, as long as you knew where they came from and cleaned them before giving them to him/her

  • of course, there is nothing wrong with these toys as long as you disinfect them from any possible germs, I remember my kids being happy when I let them use my pots and pans for toys, they are not picky as long as it is new to them.

  • of course - i clean them before she touches them, but there is no harm in it, she has no idea if it is brand new or not.
