I know moms worry a lot, but I am overwhelmed with the fear that something could happen to my little girl. She is about to turn 1, I thought that it would get a little easier as time went by but it's getting worse...If I hear about or see anything on TV or online or anywhere that in any way involves a child in pain, or worse, I almost have panic attacks..I cry and become completely irrational. Is there something wrong with me or do you think this sounds somewhat normal? I just love her more than I ever thought I could love anything and I feel like if anything ever happened to her ... I don't even know how to end that sentence.Answer Question

I am too. My little one has some unexplained medical issues and I always fear the worse. Then she also says weird things too like, "I want to go to heaven and see my sister" or when I ask her what she wants to be when she grows up she says "mom, I'm not going to grow up". It's very erie.

Worried, yes, sometimes. Does the news upset me, yes some stories do. Do I let it take control of my life and become irrational.... No! Do you have a doctor you can talk to?
