Do babies cry in their sleep?

My 4 month old dd had a very busy Mothers Day yesterday and she was very tired. But she didn't sleep all that well last night. I just put her down for a nap and she is crying, but I swear she is asleep. She did the same thing last night. What should I do?

  • my son always did that sometimes too. i usually would waited a few minutes, 5 minutes or so to see if he just stopped on his own, and most of the time he did, but if he didnt after like 5 minutes, i would pick him up
