  • No. Well, maybe in Arkansas. (I'm totally kidding! It's never ok.) EW!

  • Legally, sure they can. I wouldn't be comfortable with it though. Maybe if the kids were older and didn't live together it would be OK but it would be a definite no-no if they were living in the same house, even part time.

  • biologically speaking, I guess its OK since they aren't blood realtions. Morally... I guess that's up to you. This is something I wondered about before.

  • I know a couple that are step brothers and sisters. They met when they were 19 never lived under their "parents" roof. They were married for 17 years.

  • I don't think so, only because they are siblings by marriage.. Funny, my neighbors had teenage kids, the parents married and the oldest boy and the oldest girl started dating, and got pregnant... Talk about a funny family tree.. The baby's dad is dad and uncle and visa verse for the mom of the baby.. Did I get that right....

  • Why not? The kids are attracted to each other. The parents are attracted to each other. Mom and daughter have similar taste in boys... lol

They are related by a piece of paper, not by blood. Although I did read a story like this in a teen magazine a few years back. The kids got a lot of cr@p for it by their peers. Not sure if the parents were married but the 4 were living in the same house.

  • I would say if they grew up together as siblings, that would be a bit odd. But my step brother and I (we never dated) didn't become brother and sister til we were already in highschool... I wouldn't really see issue there... Because they wouldn't see each other as siblings, but as my step dad's son or my step mom's daughter... There would definitely be no legal reasons why they couldn't date... And hell, if they were in their teens or twenties or even older when they become siblings, there is no brother sister relationship there so I don't see why not.
