So do you believe in folk lore? PLease be respectful!!!!

Ok so their is a folk lore in my family. I have a long ancestry of witches (who were said to be natural born and very powerful) in my family. The folk lore goes that many many centuries ago, my ancestor bound a witch from doing harm in this life. The witch swore that he would seek revenge on all her children (who use their gifts) until her line is gone for good. That he would hold them in fear and drain them of their power until they are weakened then he would ruin them.
Have you ever heard of this?
Is it possible?
What can be done to break the curse? If any thing?
What all can happen with this curse if it is possible?
What can the spirit do?
Gain from the power?
Why would he want it?

I'm skeptic about this, but since my resent dreams I am curious about finding out more from those who may know. To me this sounds like holly wood.

  • Have you ever heard of this? Heard of it yes. Don't necessarily believe in it.
Is it possible? anything is possible
What can be done to break the curse? If any thing? Check your PM
What all can happen with this curse if it is possible? Don't know without knowing specifically what was said.
What can the spirit do? Nothing unless you allow it
Gain from the power? Nothing unless you allow it
Why would he want it? He doesn't want it. He just doesn't want you to have it.

The only way "he" can drain your power is to have you do it yourself. The idea of the curse was placed on your ancestor years ago. She/he dwelled on it thus adding his/her own energy into it. Then he/she passed it on to the next generation who again added their own energy in to keep it going. So now you got years and years of natural witches using their own power to fuel a curse. Stop believing in the curse and you'll get rid of it.
