How to prevent your carpet from smelling like pee when your toddler has an accident!!!

So, DD will be 3 on Friday and we're really trying to get her potty trained before the next is here at the end of July. She just peed on the floor, through her "big girl panties" and it got on the carpet....
How do I make sure my house doesn't smell like urine????

  • This will get the smell out and get any stain out as well. Good luck!

    Dry it up.
Pour a water/vinegar solution on the area(1/2 water, 1/2 vinegar).
    Dab that up well.
Sprinkle the area with Baking powder.
    Dab with hydrogen peroxide.
Allow to dry then vacuum the area.

  • FIrst off wash the area then spray the spot with ODOBAN. My carpet guys swear by it. I just bought some at Sam's Club but Walmart sells it too or you can buy it online but it costs more online.

  • I recommend that you get stuff made to take dog urine/smell out of the carpet. The dog urine has a stronger smell, so should work just fine on kid urine.

  • I have a spot bot, but I think they are called little green machines now. They work great on any stains whether it be your pets/kids/ or SO lol.
