The Second Time Around

Is it true most women go into labor sooner the second time around? Did you?

  • For me yes. and I had my second vaginally. First was c-section.

  • Not always ture. I did but both my SIL did not. I also had a friend that each one of her kids. She went later. She is on number 4.

  • My first I went into labor at 40 weeks and 3 days, my 2nd I went into labor at 40 weeks and 1 day - so it was sooner, but not by much. My 3rd was induced at 38 weeks, my 4th was a planned csection at 39 weeks and my 5th is also planned csection for 39 weeks. I wouldn't expect a whole lot of difference.

  • I was wondering the same thing! My first was born at 39 weeks and now im wondering when the one im expecting is going to come. Im hoping she will stay til her due date tho.

  • not sure yet. but for my sister, she had her first at 36 weeks and her second at almost 39 weeks.
