Are there any areas of being a mother you personally would like to improve on?

Like patience or interaction? Or being more spontaneous, fun, etc with your kids? Or more understanding?

  • I would like more patience and spontaneity. According to my Mom I am a saint in the patience department, but I would like to be more spontaneous and do more things on the fly.

  • I was not born with patience so I would really like some more of that! I would like to be more spontaneous too.

  • I need to be a little more structured. I tend to put off what needs to be done for fun stuff.

  • Patience. I thought I learned patience growing up with my angry ADHD brother. Not enough. I thought I learned patience when home-schooling monster children. Not enough. I married a man. Still not enough. God made me a mother. I wonderful experience, but I'm beginning to think I'll never learn patience. I guess we'll learn how hard-headed I am by how many kids I have. LOL!

  • PATIENCE definitely. And I guess I could do better with interaction. I find myself in my own world or doing homework when my son is playing

  • Patience. I have never been a patient person by any means, I am still learning. It just doesnt come natural to me. I am very interactive with my son, hes only 1 1/2 though so he needs constant attention.

  • I wish I had more enthusiam for doing stuff he likes. I don't mind taking him to do things but actally participating with him wears on my nerves.

  • I feel like I need more patience... My DH says I'm a great mom, but I feel like I yell all the time :( But I have a 2 year old so maybe that's why LOL.
The other thing would have to be getting out of the house more. I am kind of a hermit, and I just really want to get her out of the house & to different places more often.
