Pampers recall....

My baby totally got a sever diaper rash after using the pampers. I'm am bumming b/c I really love pampers for the leakage factor but I can't chance him getting the rash again... I heard after he got the rash that pampers had a recall b/c they were causing diaper rash. Anyone have this problem?

  • didn't hear about a recall but i loved pampers, too. at least at first. then they switched to the new and improved ones they have now and they suck! they sag, they aren't as soft as the old ones (my daughter has sensitive skin), and they smell funny. they have a lot of perfume in them now.

  • Oh and call the 800 number. they might just send you a coupon for a different product (like LUVS since they are the same company)

  • Yeah, they recalled Pampers Max or something like that for that reason. try other brands. I Know my son can use pampers baby dry and not other brands or kinds of pampers or he gets a bad rash - its a crap shoot sometimes.

  • The drymax in pampers is giving chemical burns. If you still want to use pampers, get pampers baby dry because they don't have drymax in them.

  • I have tried pampers and yes My DD got a bad rash also i switched to parents choice and now we use luvs after almost 2 years of useing the parents choice and i love Luvs. Keep trying to see what works best for you and your child. Besides pampers are price very high for what they really do offer.

I can not find anything on the web about a recall actually happening. They say it is an internet rumor that the diapers are on recall.

  • I have also heard that the pampers are deodorized. And the deodorizer can be hard on sensitive bottoms. I have a couple of friends thats kids cant use pampers cause they break out.
