  • In my view, striking a child is only justifiable if the teacher is defending herself. That doesn't apply in this case.

  • NO even if he did what the teacher said the answer is not to beat the hell out of the kid! A teacher is there to teach and guide kids not beat them when they are out of line!

    2 wrongs do NOT make a right! She is the adult and should have DEALT with that AS an ADULT! Now, I will be the FIRST to say tat I think teachers are given the shaft when it comes to discipline. They arent allowed to say anything negative for fear of hurting little Johnny's feelings and have ZERO recourse when little Johnny shows his butt and the parents dont back them up. But THIS is EXTREME and WRONG!....by the by...are you watching Joy Behar too?? LOL

  • it doesnt matter what he did. no teacher has a right to abuse a student like that. you could see the way he was cowering in the corner. he was so afraid. he didnt fight back either and she just kept at him. i do think teachers do have to put up with alot from students tho. but that doesnt justify it
