how can i keep my kids safe in the car i my car does not have a place for the top tethers ?

  • the dealership put a latch right in my back dash..they can do it just call around and check prices.

  • We don't hace LATCH in our car; too old. We just use the lap belt and re-tighten it every other week or so. As long as the seat does not move more than half an inch without the child in it, you are usually okay. Next car we get will have LATCH.

  • LATCH is just one more way to protect them and is not required. if you want you can call around to see how much it would cost to have it retrofitted in your car. We simply use the seat belt.

  • I have an 01 ford explorer, and the dealer put them in for free for us. Call the dealer and ask.
