  • Not if you're an actor, a volunteer at a kissing booth, etc.

  • A form of cheating yes. Not as bad as having sex though. But still not appropriate.

  • Got to ask would it make my SO feel if they knew I was kissing someone else? Better yet, how would you feel if it were the other way around?

  • There are obvious exceptions like kissing family members, acting, or kissing another partner in a mutually agreed upon threesome but if you're going out to a bar or something and kiss someone else in a sexual manner then yeah, it's definitely cheating. Any sexual contact with someone other than your partner is cheating and that includes everything from sex to kissing to heavy flirting.

  • Yes if it's not family

  • Kissing a member of my family, no. As an actor or something along those lines, as someone else suggested, also no. But, I would say, in most situations, it would be cheating. When it comes to cheating, my boyfriend and I have a very simple rule: If we wouldn't want our partner to know about it, it's cheating. It's that simple for us. It makes it very easy to determine if we should do what we are doing.
