2 kids,2 hours...$25.00

Do you think that is too much for babysitting?
They are 5 months and 2 years old.
I originally charge $25 per child/per day up to 9 hours
but for short term, the parents only need me for 2 hours per day while the mom is in orientation for her new job.
I wasn't sure what to charge...I felt $50 would have been way too much.
What do you think?

  • For a toddler and a baby that is reasonable.

  • i would just charge 20 but i guess 25 is reasonable

  • Most day cares charge that much for an entire day. But, since this is 2 children, then I get it. But, if the two parties agree, then it isn't a problem.

  • No way, you're cheating yourself. $25 per kid is resonable especially if they're bad as heck.

  • I think it's reasonable given the ages of the children. You shouldn't go any lower than 20 though if the parents don't agree to $25.

  • 25 sounds fair, are you feeding them as well?
