So I bought a knit sweater and the label reads: Hand wash only do not wring or twist dry flat. Steam iron when needed. How am I suppose to get the water out after I wash it? :(Answer Question

I think you can gently squeeze some excess water without wringing or twisting (push the knit together with your hands, but don't do anything that would stretch or misshape it). You can then put it between two towels and press (fold the towels in half so they will absorb more). After you press out as much water as you can lay the sweater on a towel or drying rack and shape it (be sure it isn't draped over anything that will stretch it or cause strange bumps).
