  • I didn't drop with my son and am awaiting this one to drop any time now but a friend of mine dropped 3 months before she had her baby, seems kind of soon but she did. But good question.

  • first baby often drops sooner than if this is your 2nd or 3rd. They say up to 4 weeks before with my first though it was just 1 week.

  • I never dropped either.. I had to be induced at 39 weeks due to Gestational so there's a chance it could have happened later if I could have gone on my own

  • It is always different for everyone and every pregnancy. With my first I was so low. I never noticed when or if she ever dropped. Wtih my second I carried high and at 34week I dropped and delivered her at 36 weeks.

  • I was sure mine had because things just felt different -- around 38 weeks. Turns out she never did, not even during labor... for over 48 hours.. never dilated either. :(

  • Babies don't always drop or they can drop very early as well and that is kind of like losing your plug or being dilated a cm or two...you can stay that way for weeks. My sister lost her plug at 32 weeks and went a week overdue...I lost my plug w/ my son at 35 weeks and had him the next week. I dropped with my first daughter around christmas time and didn't have her until the end of january. No way of predicting. Just hang in there and try to stay as relaxed and stressfree as possible.
