is it safe to use sunblock and bug spray together on kids?

and which should be applied first? i read an article saying that the stuff they sell already combined is really bad for you b/c it makes your skin absorb the deet too fast. but it doesnt say anything about using the individual products together. if that makes any sense.

  • we don't use sunblock or bugspray. we spray our yard with garlic spray...this summer we will look into all natural mosquito spray from drbenkim.com.
the ingredients in those products are pretty scary! be careful!
