Is anyone else with a Chevy cobalt having problems with their car TURNING OFF while driving down the road?

our car got recalled a few months ago and weve heard NOTHING from GM EVER....the recall was for the power steering randomly going out as well as a problem with the fuel pump. A mechanic i know said the fuel pump is probably what is turning the car off. This happens at any speed, any time of the day.

How can i report this to GM just in case other people are having the same problem i can let GM know?

  • My mom has one but she hasnt mentioned anything about that to me. I think you just go to your dealership, they will have to check it out. Unless, tons of people are reporting it in, I doubt they will do anything about it.

  • Just take it to the dealership. They will look at the vin, put in the computer and then take it back and work on it IF they have the parts in stock. It's fast easy and painless.

  • My dad has a Pontiac that does that too! They can't find anything wrong with it either. It doesn't happen in the winter, just in the summer.
