  • I've never thought about it, but I only use Pampers - I just think they work better and I like the way they feel better than other brands.

  • I use Target brand. Maybe I am a Target brand diaper snob? I don't know, but they are what works best for us.

  • i use whatever is affordable at the time but mostly huggies

  • I'm a snob because I just dont understand why other stay at home moms cant choose to use cloth diapers. If you are not contributing income, you should do whatever you can to keep expenses down. I cant help but wonder why everyone else wants to throw their money away.

  • I didnt know that made me a

    any who
I only use pampers because they are not stiff like others I have tried, Huggies in my opinion is stiff LUVS are to me too
and with the stiffness my baby kept having blowouts, so a diaper was costing me 10-20 bucks depending on how much stuff got ruined...KWIM?

AND since I found a brand I like Im sticking with them :)

  • I gave everything a fair chance, even dollar store nasty ones. Luvs always seems to have the best coupons so we went w/ them alot, although I don't care for the diapers. Pampers cruisers was fave if the wallet permitted. Walmart brand ones we bought only once.... and donated 1/2 the pack to goodwill.

  • Anon: extra bleach, detergent, etc costs $$$$$ too. And sometimes cloth is simply not an option for some families. In my case my son had a dozen caregivers the first few months of his life (I was in the ICU in renal failure) and going between daddy, gramma, grandpa, hospital, etc etc with a bleach bucket soaking the sh!t out would've not been so practical.

  • I'm a SAHM with a 21 and 7 month old. And to the girl who wrote about using cloth diapers....screw that. I am so enviromentally cautious that it drives my family crazy. To the point that I take all my compost to my parents, since we can't have a compost pile in the borough. Anyways. All that bleaching, soaking, washing, that adds up too. Obviously not as much as diapers, but not everyone has a washer and dryer either to do all of that work. Ease up ladies!!!
