  • Every year I search for a new cookie recipe to add to my Christmas cookie "repertoire", & I love to bake in general...these are the things I think I make best (please keep in mind, my kids are grown, so I've been cooking for a few years....)

Chocolate Chip cookies (supposed to be a Mrs. Fields recipe)
    Oatmeal Craisin cookies
    Thumb Print Cookies
    Big Soft Sour Cream Cookies
    Pumpkin Cookies
    Double Chocolate Thumb Prints
Cut Out Cookies (old recipe of my moms)
Candy Cane Cookies (from Martha Stewart's Christmas Book)
    Peanut Butter Cookies
    Cinnamon Swirls
Snickerdoodles (these are a favorite with everyone...but you probably know that!)
    Oatmeal Jam Bars

    Applesauce Cake
Delicious Cake (yes that's the name, & it's yummy moist and extra easy from a cake mix!)

    Banana Nut Bread
    Cranberry Orange Bread
    Healthy Carrot Bread

    I'm sure there's more...but it's a cool ra

  • that's supposed to say "It's a cool rainy day, and we don't get many of those, so I think I'll go bake"

  • I can't bake a good banana bread for anything! I'd love that recipe too. I learned out to bake bread recently and that is fun. My favorite is (authentic) Irish Soda Bread. I bake up mini muffins for fun.

  • Muffins. Cupcakes/cakes. Bars/cookies. Whatever I'm in the mood for. Today I'd love to bake a lemon cake but there are days I never want to bake another cake again.
