How much is a 5lb bag of Organic potatoes in your Area?

  • really..the stores in my town do not sell organic yet lol.... they really dont, and if they did, I bet alot of people would complain ---- but if we go to the next town over, I think I seen some organic things and they were priced about $ more than non-organic..........SO a non-organic bag of potatoes here is like $3 I would imagen the organic kind would be close to $7

  • Last I check it was $5.99 for a bag of potatoes. But I couldn't afford it. With the same price I could get as much as the triple of non-organic potatoes.

  • I just checked yesterday - they are $4.79 for russets. Non-organic are $2.79-$3.99 (different varieties, different prices). I don't buy potatoes unless I'm desperate, I grow my own!

  • A 5lb bag of organic potatoes is about $3-5, depending on the variety, but I don't buy them because we grow our own. This year we are growing yukon golds, kennebec and red pontiacs.
