  • Maybe to some it is. I mean if you think about we all have our perception of what love is. Those statements could easily be interpreted as love for self, or love for the unborn. Maybe a woman loves he being inside her enough NOT to bring he or she into a world such as this. Maybe she feels she is doing more good than harm. Maybe its her way of showing love beyond he physical and explainable.

  • This is not mystical. This is not profound. Abortion strips a woman of her motherhood. It end the destiny of the child being aborted. Abortion replaces life with death. Abortion has it's own code but it's not one of honor, it's one of deception.

And to call abortion, the taking of innocent life, the shedding of innocent blood, a "sacred rite" is downright frightening.

  • A rite is an established, ceremonious, usually religious act or process art. Rites in this sense fall into three major categories:

    * rites of passage, generally changing an individual's social status, such as marriage, baptism, or graduation.
    * rites of worship, where a community comes together to worship, such as Jewish synagogue or Mass
    * rites of personal devotion, where an individual worships, including prayer and pilgrimages such as the Muslim Hajj.

Is abortion an act of worship? An act of devotion? A passage into womanhood? This is "love"?

    Disgusting.

  • I think there are situations where Abortion is the loving option... Illnesses like Taysachs where the child will only know pain and torture their entire life, but this isn't the case with most Abortions... So while I think SOME (very few) abortions are done out of love, that's just not the majority.
