  • I wash pots/pans and cookie sheets by hand. They do NOT get clean in the dishwasher. Some things just don't.

  • I have a dishwasher and try to put everything in it. Pots, pans mixing bowls, whatever. I try to never actually wash a dish.

  • moYes I have a perfectly working dishwasher, and I do ALL my dishes by hand. It seems easier, really. My daughter (17 months) likes to climb in the dishwasher, and it feels like I have to wash them anyways before they go in. So I just wash them by hand. Why do you ask?

  • Yes, because apartments supply you with cheap washers and it doesn't do a good job at all. I end up washing half of the load. I like my cleaning skills better anyway.

  • I wash my by hand most the time because my dish washer isn't so great. That's usually how free dishwashers work!

  • There are certain things I always wash by hand. My pots and pans because they are exspensive and I do not want them getting scratched in the dishwasher, and my silverware because the care instructions say do not wash in the dishwasher. Everything else gets put in the dishwasher.

  • I'll only use my dishwasher if I let the dishes pile up. Otherwise, I enjoy washing them by hand. My pots and pans are non-stick, so they're not allowed in the dishwasher. :)
