My daughter is not even 1 1/2 and she already combines two words together....

such as thank you, love you, eat more, duh mommy!, all done, all gone...
shes only 15 months.

I thought they don't start doing this until they're about 18-24 months?

  • My son was saying whole sentences at one year and paragraphs by 18 months. I can happen. It means she is very smart and you are working with her. Awesome job mom.

  • 6 months anonymous!! I doubt that. Maybe you think she was but more than likely she was not.

    Sounds like she has great vocabulary and that her parents are involved with her!! Great job Mom!!

  • My 14 month old also says 2 word combinations. He can say thank you, need bites, need juice,bye dad and things like that. All kids develop at different paces, we just have really smart ones. :)

  • ok, let me add more, she also understand spanish, sign language as well and says about 14 words in spanish and knows a TON of signs in ASL. ASL she has known since she was about 5 months. and English of course.

    would this make her trilingual? lol

  • i don't remember exactly when she did it but my dauighter has always talked a lot too. Good job mom! I bet you read to her a lot? It works wonders. ;)
