Is this tacky??? please bash if needed lol

My husband and friends want to plan me a baby shower for baby #2, since baby #1 is already 4 yrs old. I love planning baby/bridal showers.. so If I were to plan my own baby shower and just get the hubby to pass out the invites and actually "host" the shower , would this be tacky? should I just chill and let them do it?

  • In my personal opinion throwing your own shower is tacky.

  • Second showers are tacky and hosting your own is tacky too. Sorry.

  • My opinion is that throwing it for yourself is tacky. But by all means let them throw you one, each baby should be celebrated. congrats!

  • Do what you want who cares what others think. If they don't like it they don't have to come.

  • Why are second baby showers tacky? You still want to celebrate and welcome the new baby and just bcuz it isn't the first born doesn't mean that she can't have a baby shower for it too. My aunt had had 5 kids and had a shower for everyone of them. But after the first one all she either asked for diapers or no gifts
