11 month old and diarrhea

So my son had a really bad cold and he just got over it, however he has been having diarrhea for the last few days, and it's super stinky.... he is eating/drinkig like normal so is he ok or sure I take him to the DR?

  • If you can find blackberry juice where you live get some. Give him two or three tablespoons four times a day. If you are giving baby foods still mix a jar of carrots with an equal amount of water and feed it to him. Or you can try 1/8 tsp. cinnamon in a cup of warmed milk (though dairy usually makes things worse) You can also Boil two ounces of barley in six cups of water (preferably distilled water) until there's about half the water left in the pot. Strain. Give baby some of the water throughout the day.

    Let it go for now since he's recovering from a cold his body is trying to flush what's left out. If it persists for a week or longer or if he starts to dehydrate,call the doctor.
