  • Over twenty years ago, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended not feeding children under age six any pesticides.

  • Fruit is good for your kids. Buy organic if you are concerned about pesticides and wash all fruit well.

  • It's important for children to eat fruit and vegetables. Organic items don't have the pesticides.

  • But then if everyone were to buy organic...I don't think there is enough organic food for each one of us.

  • That is not true. Never has been. We all need to just WASH fruit. Or, eat canned fruit .
"Can't no longer" ??? I think the grammatically correct would be" Can no longer eat fruit"

  • Actually, the pesticides cannot be washed off of certain fruits and vegetables because they have absorbed the pesticides internally. Fruits such as strawberries, grapes, pears & peaches, & vegetables like lettuce & especially celery. Those are the fruits & vegetables to buy organic.
