  • When my son was 6 months old(he is 14 months now) I would bathe him at least once a day, sometimes 2 times a day if he needed it. He spit up a lot due to reflux though. So I would think once a day would be plenty for most babies.

  • Once a day. In the evening, which got the day's dirty off of him and also helped relax him for bed. :)

  • 3 - 4 times a week for both of my kids. They both had very bad exzema and still do, and their pedi recomended their bath schedule.

  • I gave my children a bath everyday since they were born, I have a dermatologist that recommends everyone not take a daily bath, but I can't do that, specially in Miami Heat! I compensate with lotion.

  • my son @ 6mos had terrible eczema and could only have a bath 2x a week, 3 if he was really gross.

  • At birth my pedi recommended bathing every other day. So, at ten months old my son has been bathed every other day since birth. Well, usually. There have been times where its every day cuz hes dirty, and there have been times where it was twice a day because he had bad think the every other day works well. Hes clean, but im not drying out his skin.

  • I never immersion bathe. I sponge bathe as needed, (1 or 2 times a week). No lotion (too many additives), cream, powder (bad for baby), or oil (I did use coconut oil for cradle cap and to lubricate baby but after acidic or copious poo). Baby bottom. obvioulsy gets cleaned for every diaper change. We use cloth prefold diapers, so don't get blowouts.
