  • No, but all two years olds will insist on doing whatever it is that they want to do, and most of it seems completely irrational and weird. Keep an eye on him. He may stop doing it as suddenly as he started.

  • My kids have never done that. They all have used their hands a lot. Have you asked a doctor about it?

  • No, I haven't asked a doctor. It's something he just started doing about a month ago. Sometimes I have to smooth his hands out just so he can do normal stuff like hold a toy.

  • No, Your child may have a sensory issue. i would talk to your pedi. My son has sensory processing disorder.

  • No, my kids did when they were infants, but never past the age of 6 months.

  • my daughter did that when she was younger than 8 months. She also had trigger thumbs.
