Be prepared for lots of dog hair. It seems no matter how much you clean you always miss some.

If this dog has never lived inside he will have to be housebroken more then likely. If that is the case you will need to treat him as though he is a young puppy and not allow him to have full access to the house.
I agree with the post above. As far as house training though, you may get lucky because a lot of times a former outside dog will not poop or pee in the house unless in an absolute emergency (as in, you forget to take it out). WE brought our dog in after she lived outside for many months and she did fine as far as that was concerned. She hated going inside because she was used to pooping in the dirt... so she would whine and we'd let her out. But yes... get rid of fleas and ticks and keep checking for them for awhile. It's be awful to get those in your house...they multiply very quickly in the carpets, etc..
